A Jakeward Story, Chapter 2

The First Day

Edward rushed to his locker in a hurry to be the first one to class. As he was in close distance of his locker, he found himself on the ground, books sprawled out everywhere. He reached out to pick up his books but a large hand stopped him, the hand of the person he had rammed into, Edward assumed. Hoping that he did not injure the person, considering the damage that one vampire can cause to a weak human, he hesitantly looked up.

"I am so sorry" Jacob said apologetic. "I didn't mean to hurt you" Edward questioned what the stranger had just said. "I'm fine" He said in his perfect voice. "The question is, are you okay?" Jacob's responce was with much confusion. "Yeah, fine. Do you need help with your books?" "No" Edward answered politely. As soon as he said that, the bell rang, shreeking its loud noise. "I gotta get to class." Jacob said in a hurry. He started to get up but Edward grabbed his arm. "Why don't you sit with me at lunch?" He immediatley regreted speaking. But the arm in Edward's hand was so, perfect, that he just couldn't resist. "Ok" Jacob quickly responded. And as he ran off, Edward could've sworn he had seen Jacob smile.

A Jakeward Story, Chapter 1

New Beginnings
Edward closed his eyes as he stepped into the small school he was just starting in. He hardly knew anyone, except for his slightly large family of four. Alice, Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett. And they were all just as unfamiliar to this school as Edward himself. Their new school, Forks High. Edward was very nervous as he and his brothers and sisters entered the building.

Jacob pulled his hair back, gotten dressed and ran downstairs, eager to start the day. Nothing will get in my way, he thought to himself as he grabbed a large portion of the food laying on the table in his oversized fists. He sat down on the couch and began to watch the TV as he scarfed down the rest of his breakfast. As soon as he finished, he grabbed his bag and headed out the door. He knew that this wouldn't be the same as his old school, but both he and his dad had agreed that Forks High would be the perfect school.
